I Can't Wait for Summer to End
I never thought I would say it, but I can't wait for summer to end. Don't get me wrong, this summer has been great! Although with everything going on, I'm looking forward to getting back to a more consistent schedule, not to mention I'm super excited to have the entire Crossroads family back. With all the vacations, camps, sports, reunions, hollidays, etc. Summers make it hard to stay connected with everyone. So with that being said, I think I'm going to head out to the lake considering I probably don't have much more time before it freezes over.

This September....
I'm thrilled to announce that this September we will be launching a third service on Sunday nights. This service is going to more contemporary and geared towards young adults and young families. Already Pastor CJ Jr. who will be leading this service has established a launch team of about 40 people and is looking for more to be involved. In fact on June 21st they will be having their first get together at 7pm at Crossroads Church.
I can't say enough how excited I am about this addition. For too long, Crossroads has been unable to effectively provide ministry and opportunities to younger adults. Although I believe that time has finally ended and I can't wait for this service to start. If you have any questions, or would like more information please contact Pastor CJ Jr. who will be leading this service.

Softball
Tonight was another fun night of softball. It's always fun being the Church team in the beer chuggers league. Especially when we win! Right now we're 4-6, but we've lost some really close games. In fact if you're not doing anything on Thursday nights, you should come out to Ponds Park in Prior Lake. We could use the support.

Another Great Mother's Day
Yesterday was another great Mother's Day. This year we grilled out and went on the boat. The water is still freezing, so the dogs were the only ones to get in. Although every time they would get back in and shake off we would all get wet. I love moments like this when the entire family is together, and I can't thank God enough for blessing me with such an amazing wife/mother of my kids. Without a doubt, all of those quotes suggesting that Moms are the glue that hold families together are 100% accurate.

Long Time, No Blog
Hey everyone, I must apologize for not updating my blog lately. Things at Crossroads have been so busy, I haven't been able to get around to posting anything lately. So I've decided to clear everything and start all over. Although on the flip side, in this case busy is a good thing. We just ended our Easter series "Come," in which this year for the first time we had a All Church Easter Breakfast. The entire series and event was a blast! In fact I'm still snacking on some of the candy bags that were passed out to the kids. Thanks to everyone who played a part in making the whole thing a success.
